“First, once I met Paul Sullivan (even though I interviewed no less than six other contractors) no one else would
do.
Secondly, I have never known someone in this business as charming, as clever, as driven, as dependable
as he. He is bright and articulate and present.
Thirdly, I am a writer (a poet in fact) and my home is my
castle. It is the only place in the world where I can do my work. (So precious is this place to me, in fact, that I keep
this castle, even though I work 200 miles way). I would only entrust this place to Paul Sullivan, and Paul Sullivan alone.

Fifthly, this man is a genius. He knows how to transform a room, a space, a castle in fact.

when my architect petered out on me, Paul took over that job as well, and became my co-conspirator in Beauty. His attentions
to detail are extraordinary. (He did not charge me for the hours and hours he spent reinventing the Wheels of Things.) He
was beyond generous.
Seventh, he shows up. And when he does so, he is charming and a pleasure to be in
the company of. And when he says that something will be done: it is Done.
Eighth, he has impeccable instincts
and impeccable taste.
Ninth, his craftsmanship and expertise are non pareil. His heart is in this work he does.
Tenthly, working with Paul Sullivan has ruined, unfailingly, in the future, the possibility of working with anyone
else, ever.”
